The problems mentioned above are not only the legacy of technology, but also the quality of manufacturing.
The discoloration of rockery appearance and cracking of splicing joints are mainly related to the characteristics of GRC data and construction technology.
In the manufacturing process of GRC rocks, the surface layer is usually sprayed with plain slurry. The plain slurry solidifies and forms texture appearance. Without the participation of aggregates such as sand and stone in plain slurry, the structure will be greatly reduced. Later, it will form fragments. The color of rocks surface is actually the fragmentation of plain slurry. The cracking of splicing joint has a great relationship with the strength of GRC cement. GRC cement has a great relationship with ordinary Portland water. Compared with mud, it is characterized by rapid solidification, and the defect is that the structural strength after solidification is poor.
All the above problems can be solved by simple repair technology. GRC cement is used to re-coat and bond the splicing cracks, and re-colouring can also deal with the discoloration of rockery.
If the steel structure inside the rockery is not selected and welded properly, it will lead to the later damage of GRC rockery, and even collapse. If immediate repair is taken, the service life of rockery can be greatly improved. If the delay is too long and the damage rate of internal skeleton is high, it is impossible to repair, only to push down and rebuild.
Therefore, the best way is to strangle the problems before the completion of construction. Experienced engineering teams will think about these problems in the process of making rockeries, and make rockeries with good quality raw materials and steel to ensure that no major problems occur during the trial period.
